Who are we?

Tiddlywinks is me, Päivi, an at-home mom with 5 children in the ages from 3 to 17 years. I'm married to Henrik and we live in a house on the countryside of Småland, in southern Sweden. Besides the cats we also have 3 dogs. Our Cleo - a black Hungarian Puli, Kitty - a miniature-Pinscher and Riina - a Hungarian Kuvasz we co-own with Csigora. We also have a thoroughbred horse, Shippa (Shipop) and a New Forestpony, Curre (Absolut Curant). We also have a handful of ducks living in our backyard.



My first Devon, Lupinängens Medea, came to us in 1995 and she was rather soon followed by others. In 1997 Curlicue's Dishy Dragon Fly was added to our home as our foundationqueen and our first litter was born in december 1997. I've always been fond of the Cornish Rex as well and in january 2007 our first one, Piupaws Thea, came to us from Finland. Our first (and only) Cornish-kittens was born in the summer 2009. Last year I decided that I/we needed new challenges and the decition was to breed Selkirkt Rexes. That's a breed that isn't recognised by FIfé, yet, and I hope to do my share for an future recognition. We picked up our first one, Frizekittis Jule, from Germany.



Our cats are more than just a part of a breedingprogram. They are our beloved pets and live with us in our house and the kittens are raised underfoot in the centre of it all and are handled and cuddled alot, and I mean alot! I believe in quality rather than quantity and my goal is to raise kittens that has all I wish for in a Devon and Cornish.
